Does anyone else find this whole "ghost" thing really bizarre?

I never wanted to be a mod. If I become a mod I would have to slash my current salary in half or actually less than half. You know of any people who will quit their current jobs to earn half or less than they earn now?

As far as my ghost goes......I mostly post my plays under my "alter ego" username. I don't keep this account real active this time of year, mostly ratchet him up during college football season. Had some nice thumps last year, including Wisconsin to beat then #1 OSU.

Opie was the name of my black lab. He was my hunting buddy and closest companion for 14 years until he passed
away last summer.

I joined up on SBR last September, so I just used his name to kind of remember him by. Apparently, the name Opie was already taken, so I added the year of my high school graduation just to get it accepted with SBR.

Like I said, had no intention of ever sticking around and spending time on this chit-chat room.

Almost 4k posts later.....

I don't even remember signing up for this forum, in till a few months ago. I think I signed up for it looking at the sports books reviews, never really knew there was regular forums when I joined. Then a couple months ago I found my way back on here, and never looked back.

MW, you make a good point. Pavyracer's "free time" has "only" allowed him to average 841 posts a month. But this number is way above the paid mods average, and second only to Shari91:

pavyracer - 42,876 posts since 4/12/07 841/month
Shari91 - 15,920 since 2/23/10 980/month
Lou - 32,127 posts since 8/2/07 684/month
Justin7 - 7,627 posts since 7/31/06 129/month
Sam9ball - 1,187 posts since 7/1/09 49/month
Bobbyfk had 13,116 posts since 1/19/09 445/month
jjgold - 99,707 posts since 7/20/05 1394/month

But, maybe Pavyracer has a higher standard for post counts and if he was a paid mod he would just go balls to the wall and average 1500+ posts a month.

With his dedication and loyalty to SBR, he should be a at least a paid poster.
