Dallas was 2-0 against Miami in the regular season. Laughable to give them no chance. Miami had not fully washed up Shaq last finals go around.

it was about as serious as all those posts saying miami had no chance of winning the title when they went on a losing streak...

i still think, just as i have thought all along, that miami at 3-1 to win the title had a lot of value. with boston, lakers, san antonio out of the picture the road ahead is quite favorable.

The Bulls have the exact formula that has given the Heat so many problems all year with their depth, defense and penetrating PG in Rose. With the Bulls have a great home court crowd and advantage, I think you dismiss the Bulls to easy. However, please bet the Heat for the series and make the price on the Bulls better for me. Miami is 1-6 vs. Bulls/Mavs/Thunder. Oh, but they won the title. LMAO. Bunch of starstruck squares here. Boston's destiny was sealed the minute they traded Perkins. They just weren't that good. Beating the Knicks proved zilch. And the Sixers before that were lightweights. Against truly top teams, Miami just can't get it done. And now they are the road team. They will go down 2-0 and the infighting will begin. Ya know, it would not shock me, would not shock me, if the Bulls swept the Heat just like they did regular season. I'll be looking at that as a prop bet. I'd bet it if I can get 10-1 or better.

early in the season (nov 20- dec 27) the mavs went on a 17-1 string of games in which they beat okc by 10, miami by 11 then miami again by 2....

later on THIS YEAR (jan 22- mar 4) they had another nice little cluster of games in which they went 18-1 where their only loss was a 1 point loss to denver when melo was still there and put up 42 on them. 121-120

they just swept the f*ckin lakers and in game 4 blew them out by about 36 points or so.

how can anyone who says theyve paid attention to basketball this year count out the mavs.

The refs won the first time not Miami. Don't forget that Tim donahuy reffed that series. The Mavs are a much stronger team now than they were back then. They just swept the two time defending champs.
