interesting prop. where did you get those stats from floridagolfer? I think it was really windy in 2007 and there were like 50+ balls in the water in one day. Forecast looks okay though this week although there is a chance of thunderstorms at the weekend. I think I´ll take the over.

it's all about the wind. It is an easy shot with no wind. The wind starts gusting, it could push any ball in the water.

Pound the over. With two days of full field play, either 144 or 156 players, there be very easily be 25 in one day.

You also better find out the fine print: If a players hits back to back in the water, do they both count?

I choose to only play overs bc it helps with my handicapping and elimination of games. I don't research games that I feel are under plays at first glance. By doing this, I can narrow the card down fairly quickly. It has nothing to do with enjoying games that score or being square/unsquare.

A simple Google search turned up a lot of stories. There was one that listed the number of balls in the water at 17 for something like each of the last 10 years.

don't forget that in the last two rounds the bad players will be cut and the probability of holes in the water from the ones making the cut will be reduced since less players will be playing and the ones playing are the ones who did well in the first 2 rounds.
