depends on if it was a horrible beat. Say Lakers are winning by 12 and there are 3 seconds on the clock, CP3 runs down and jacks up a 'meaningless' 40 footer and it goes in. Lakers win by 9 everyone bet them at 10. Were the lakers the right side or not? 95 out of 100 times he is going to miss that shot.
The main issue is the 'right' sides that win or lose by that much werent the right or wrong side anyway. The right sides were the teams laying 10 that won by 50. Obviously no one knows those before hand, but the greatest irony in all of sports betting are the guys who claim to be great because they beat a a move or steam and win a lot of games by a point or a half point. When if they were really so frigging good they would be betting games they didnt have to sweat out.
Show me a guy who claims to be a winner because he is always on the right side of a move and I will show you both a liar and someone who will be broke in less than a year.

there's winners and losers that's it. the line "it was the right side" is for the loser who wants everyone to think he's sharp.

So the right team to pick was the one that won. Damn it all! If only this strategy could be applied to lotto tickets!

it makes me sad to see you lose jj
JJ i have a serious question ? Why do you gamble if you don't need the money, or do you need the money?
What you lose in one week would change my life forever.

Zeta and Patty last night were hammering me for telling them they are wrong about this. Because it was the "right play" meaning you bet it more times than not, it is still the wrong play because it fukking lost. He gave me some bullshit scenario about roulette in vegas guy puts down a million dollars on a number and hits but it was still the right bet for the casino because of the odds.
A loss is the wrong side. No matter what.

I've heard a lot of dumb fuks say that through the years, but on some occasion you have merit for it to be said. Most times I can't stand it when guys bring this to the table after a loss.

I picture SBR like Bushwood Country Club.
Everything was fine and pleasant.
But then the judge sees and yells at the Superintendent about all the damn gophers funneling in from the construction site.
Thats what we have here boys. Gophers funneling in from NVG and BBV of 2+2.
Place is turning into a shithole

The right play means you had a bet that would win over the long term. If i give you Miami pk tonight, and they lose, are you really gonna say it was the wrong play?

Exactly, but you can't say you were on the right side for that game because it lost. Long term, ya, you may win more times than not.

That's what Zeta and them are trying to say. You aren't just betting 1 game and quitting forever. I'd take Miami Heat PK everyday...is it going to lose? Of course...no team is going to win every game.

the casino was "right" for taking the bet. Nobody can argue that.
now if their bankroll can't handle a million dollar hit, then that's a money management issue.

I get that. The game you lost, you can't say you were on the right side. It lost. No matter what long term looks like that play wasn't the right side.

Losing side can be the right side.
1. If a casino takes a bet on a roulette table and the players bet on red and red hits, does this mean that it was a good bet?
Picking a side or any type of bet has nothing to do with predicting the future it's all a mathematical equation.
