Horrible umpiring this year. The WSox got the shaft yesterday and one game against Cle there were 3 blown calls.

Which do you agree with? Following the letter of the law in regards to the rule or the widely accepted and understood rule, which you outlined in the latter part of your statement?

I agree with the old school rule, if the ball beats the player, YOU'RE OUT!!!!!!! If you try to run over the catcher and he holds onto the ball, YOU'RE OUT!!!! I don't care if technically you were in there safe.
