    Greatest Chokers: Celtics or Patriots
If Celtics get eliminated by Hawks Tom Brady and Randy Moss will be so relieved to take the chokers title off their backs. Boston is turning into a losers town quickly. I love it!

I'd say they'd have to lose the series to be considered chokers and last time I checked this is Game 4.

of course celtics. biggest upset in sports history if they lose.. NE was -500 i believe in the super bowl.. Celts were -12000 going into game 3..

also, boston bruins get eliminated in 1st round in NHL playoffs. so boston is starting to choke. but this series is far from over.

Greatest choke- Pats because of historical implications, biggest upset- Celts losing to the hawks in 1st round.

how can a team being 18-0 and falling short of going 19-0 be considered a bigger choke than the best team in the NBA up 2-0 in the series after 2 big blowouts at home, then lose the series to a team that was 8 games under .500 in the first round..

boston had a 30 game lead over atl in the reg season..

I tend to agree withy Nicky here. The Giants beat some great teams to reach the Superbowl and were 10-6 in regular season. I will not mention the videotaping advantage they lost which many people think is not that important (not in my book).

The Hawks would have not made the playoffs in the West and being 8 games under .500 is huge.

I think one of the Bulls championships after Jordan came back went to 3-2 with Bulls barely beating the Bullets/Wizards on a similar 1-8 match up.

I have $20 on the ATL series to pay $1200. Why not I thought? I would laugh if it cashes

                  It's not even close guys.

Come on. 18-0 in the NFL, with a chance at 19-0 to consummate a PERFECT season in this day and age, that was perfection..!

This Celtics team didn't even set a record for most wins in a regular season...!

Maybe if the Celtics broke the Bulls record of 72-10 during the regular season. But they didn't, winning 66.

                    Patriots.

                      iwin,

you might be the only one in the world who had the balls to put a series bet on atl.. everyone probably said, no way i am throwing away money for nothing. no way they have a prayer to beat boston... but you had the balls and i give you credit for that. even if it's only 20 bucks.

Exactly. The series is tied 2-2 with 2 of the next 3 in Boston. Let's talk after Atlanta wins the series.

hawks are so bad I think the celts are the bigger choke artist here

                                  Giants were on a roll

Why are they a choke? Because hawks won 2 home games? Lets see what happens when the winner is declared and see who it is before we go around labeling "all time chokesters" in Boston.

In the 3 straight championships the bulls won after Jordan came back from retirement they went 9-0 in the first round (best of 5 back then)

In the first 3 before his retirement they also swept all 3 first round series.

In fact, the bulls were 24-1 in the first round between 1991 and 1998
