Dislikes:

Prefer the box with the options of pointspreads, ml, pl, spreads and totals, full game, half, quarters versus the Beta version pull down menu. The existing way is more user friendly.

I see no soccer lines listed on the Beta Version.

Could use some color, looks very bland.

Likes:

The new info box pull down menu.

The ability to check past odds for a game at different books.

first thing I see when trying to log in and change my settings is every time i go to login and hit settings it keeps saying I need to re login, I have tried a couple browsers with same result

I also don't like the drop downs. I'd rather have a one click button like before. IE for getting 2hs or full game.

Other than layout what new features does it add?

Thanks guys. Right now, we have a long list of fixes and optimizing to do through next week. We'll let everyone know when they should start looking at it for performance and proper function.

Feedback on the look, feel and navigation is great. So far we got thumbs down on the drop down navigation and the go button and we'll have replacement for that on Monday.

Also, there will be a Live odds quick nav on the live release like there is here .

Thanks Bill, that was my least favorite thing about the beta version. it is so much easier the way it is with the box with everything listed in it, just one easy click.

A different color for the "best" line would be nice. In moneylines it is easy, for spreads/totals it may require a little more work, specially if points/prices are compensated. In such cases, integrating the half point calculator would be ultra nice, but I guess the simplest solution is just to highlight the best points offer regardless of the price.

I do not know what that drop down means (spreads/totals) maybe display both and if that is the case it is not working

Second halves lines should automatically appear without any clicks and maybe jump to top of pages for that sport

Great. You'll be on click away between leagues. 2 clicks if you want to change bet type.

2nd hlvs will pop up on the today view. Thats a good one.

Sides and totals is the merged view. Needs update.

We have the ability to do it but it ends up painting the whole column of the reduced juice book on the page. We'll look at putting it in the user settings. Thanks!

Like the layout; a lot less clutter on the page. I'll wait to give my final grade until everything is all set, but I think you're going in the right direction. The most important thing, of course, will be having it update quickly once it goes live and books are changing their lines...an odds page with stale lines is as worthless as the last shit I took.

I have a widescreen monitor. The odds take up about 1/2 of the horizontal real estate available. I took a look at the divs .mainHolder, .page_margins, .page_main, and #main are set to 980px. I could set this as high as 1600px on my monitor. (of course it did not render correctly when I live edited the css with firebug, but the concept was there).

So, Perhaps a user setting for "widescreen mode" to change from 980px to 1600px? Just a suggestion... I could fit some more books on screen if that was possible.

Another suggestion is to have an entirely new view mode where I could look at spread/moneyline/total all at once - would go nice with the widescreen view. I am constantly flipping between the three on current sbrodds site.

Are you using win7? 7 makes it practical to have side by side browsers on widescreen. You could show spreads and totals next to MLs.

If will definitely be there at launch. We'll look at why you dont see it. Grande may have line for us in the future.

Space was at a premium so we left out rots. If there is a demand, we'll add the option to replace time column w/ rots.

Initial thoughts:

- The design is a lot nicer

- Can't get the settings to work as Illini mentioned

- One feature the current SBR Odds has that this one doesn't is that it will show today's and tomorrow's games on the same screen. Perhaps a cool way to keep the cleanliness of this layout with the functionality of the old one would be to do like a 'my games' option, which will only show games that you have checked (and it could show games from multiple leagues / sports). Then that would allow people to add games from multiple days and look at all of it on the same screen, while still keeping the default view of day-by-day

- Rotation numbers are critically important

- Not sure if this will be available in the settings, but on DB and SO you can do 5Dimes and or 5Dimes Reduced (they are listed as separate sportsbooks)...based on the amount of SBR members that play at 5Dimes, could be a cool feature

- The main, #1, super important thing the current SBR Odds is missing is openers. The MLB openers, for example, have been up at Greek since ~2 PM EST. Still not on the current SBR Odds.

Yes this is a known bug. If you login before you click the settings button it should work for you. Its just the settings box login that doesn't work properly.

Maybe I'm missing it, but what happened to the 'statistics' button from the original SBROdds? In the current version, it is the Graph looking Icon that brings up a separate matchup screen with previous results and stats on each team. Is this still available or going to be available in the new version?

settings not working too good for me, keeps knocking lines out when I try to have spread and total together.
