The Show is absolutely unreal....but online play is too laggy and frustrating. Almost ruins it, which is a shame, because the gameplay is damn near flawless

Thanks for the feedback, i was just wondering why it was so damn slow, i thought at times last years was not that bad online, but those may have been the nights i was induced in a Natty Binge till 5 in the morning, who knows.

I got The Show 11 last night at midnight at Wal-Mart

Currently 0-5 against CPU with some real bad beats in the 9th inning. Hitting with the analog stick will take some getting used to. I switched back to classic controls and did much better. I love the new rosters and in general this is the best one they've released, and sure to only get better as they patch.

Yah online on Xbox is twice as good as PS3. They've had that edge for a long time but I guess that's what you get for a pay service vs free service.

true-story: a few years ago, I bought MLB the show(can't remember the year, but remember David Wright was on the cover), for PS2 and I literally played it for like 4 hours total for 2 days and never played it again. Complete waste of $40. Even playing a baseball video game was just too boring for me. I can barely watch a few innings of real baseball and thought I would be able to at least play a full game on the video game, but just couldn't. It's weird because I used to love baseball and I remember playing several full seasons of MVP baseball(IMO still the best baseball game ever made) and used to watch every inning of every Yankee game. I must of developed ADD or something because baseball is just mind numbingly too slow for me to watch or even play on video games anymore.

I'd argue with you, buts its probably not worth my breath. Everyone seems to think just because they pay for Xbox live it's better. In my opinion they are virtually the same without the price tag for Ps3. As an overall entertainment system,the PS3 offers so much more than the 360.

Twas MLB 09 The Show that convinced me to get a PS3 and an HD TV. Walked by the game in a best buy and stopped to check the scores of that day's games. When I realized that this is where video games have gotten, I had to have one. Now that Modern Warfare 2 is over and Black Ops isn't that good, I think I'll try out The Show again. If anyone wants a game, I'm ZenButcher on PS3.

nice game. same problem for me as with all baseball games. not quick enough... no time to play more than a game in a row, so can't get into it.

you need to mod your 360 but if you do i suggest one for online one for burnt games

true. but like last year they will hold off on telling people that someone won the million (i think a guy won it within a week of release) so sales will stay up
