Buy a Tag, best watch for the money. Though it looks like you are going for the more flashy approach. Id say watch #2. Whats the price on those?

but since neither will hold any value i wouldnt touch it
Dont see why anyone would spend good money on watch that you cant resell for crap instead of of a rolex which will always hold its value if not make $ with right model. And when you pass down a rolex u actually r giving someone something instead of a nice watch that isnt worth crap.
I suggest only spending a grand or two and get something aesthetically pleasing to you. Like a Tag or a Raymond Weil or Tissot. If you're going to spend more get a rolex or one of the few timepieces that hold value not sink in value like a new car.

I like the flashyness.
Depending on Diamond sizes, $200-$1200

Them $400 to $500 Seiko premier watches look alright, but if you planning to do a one time investment i'll go with the Rolex Datejust for 4k.

I had a seiko titanium watch. It was a great watch, lightweight too. Ive had it for about 4 years, dont wear it much, but never had problems with it.

You should get the newer version of my watch. I love it. Would never get another watch in my life. Everything is customizable right from the factory. If you don't like the white, you can get diamonds. If you like that globe look, they even have that too. I'm just saying, if you wanna be a balla, with a bangin ass watch, why get an imitation?
Here's mine...

I'd have to be a regular nickel and dime winner to get something like that. And if I do, I'll be posing it up big tyme at a blackjack table in one of them Indian Casino's.

That is very similar to my watch Frostno...think I paid $275 on e-bay and it is perpetual motion so it recharges as you walk or move you hand.

Get a cell phone and take it out of your pocket when you need to know what time it is. It's the same time as the dime piece watch. I promise.

I agree with you about the Rolex thing. I have my father's rolex that he bought in 1970 and when he died, I got it and have been wearing it for about 3 years now. He spent a whomping $750.00 in 1970 and just last year I had it serviced for $1000 to clean it up and whatever they do the seals. Then had it appraised and the value is now placed at $4500.00, and it is just the stainless steel model with no rare stones or even gold for that matter. Of course I will never sell the thing, but I have noticed that it does run fast. It gains about 5 minutes every month.
