I heard tons of good advice in Vegas, the insight from the LOCALS sitting around the sportsbooks was 1000% better than most SBR insight.
Again, you get the great insight from the locals not from the tourists of course. I think the squares you're talking about are the tourists.
The great thing is that the locals will give your their true opinions for free, here's a couple of examples:
I showed the day's lines to a taxi cab driver and he saw Duke -47 and he said, "Take Duke, these huge lines are always a trap." Sure enough, Duke covered. Another guy told my friends and I "The Nets are gonna win tonight, they're trying to win a game." He took a whole bag full of cash up to the betting window and bet, sure enough, the Nets won and that was at a time when the Nets were one of the worst teams in the league.
Those are a couple of examples but I could go on and on and that's just based on several trips to Vegas.

Those stories are true and I could go on. The best sports betting advice I ever got was from locals in Vegas, very little on SBR has compared.

Flew a guy out to Vegas in the mid 80s to bet around 2,000 on a horse that was to run at Atlantic City. Was trying to keep the money out of the mutual pool. Was going to bet 200 or 300 at multiple places . When he tried to bet and they saw 15-1 on the morning odds, they limited him to 2 dollars only. Most places did not let him bet at all.
True story.

Since I have moved to Vegas my understanding of sports capping and the inner workings has definitely been enhanced. Being close to the "action", you begin to see things you don't see from a city that does not promote gambling. As far as $1000 limits, I haven't been to a casino that offers caps like that.

and this is because of a few picks from a taxi driver and some other random guys
bonuses, better lines, etc etc make online much better than offline.
when's the last time the bellagio gave you $400 for making a $2000 bet

Yup. Offshores and locals serve their purposes for me as well, but not having to deal with wire transfers and waiting on checks is very nice. Although I did enjoy laughing at jj's video where he was getting stiffed by a local(even though it was as real as his hair).

Can I make a career out of being a local and offering -105 lines? Reduced juice SU odds? +100's?
