just woke up and now i'm all riled up.

problem is, just like he said at the end "did you see him try to assault me? did you see him?" covering himself for when the kid inevitably tells the story. if he would've fought back, he was definitely ending his night in jail.

i'm gonna see if i can remember to keep up on all this because i'm curious how it's all gonna shake out. charges filed on tuesday in court, i'm sure he'll post bail and come back for pretrial but i wonder if this will get pled down. shouldn't, because the video does it. but we'll see.

According to police scanner reports last night, Mr. Byfield called police and said he was having problems with harassing telephone calls.Dude is calling the police because 4chan is blowing up his house phone.

This video has been ALL over the internet this past week. The bouncer's life is now pretty much ruined. His personal info, facebook, and photos of where he lives have been posted. His father and 2 boss's info has been posted. There is conflicting reports on his arrest. Several charges including filing a false police report..is in the list of 4 or 5 things he's being charged with. Once 4chan gets a hold of something ...its over. They will find out any and everything about you.

WORCESTER, MA — An online video allegedly showing the beating of a patron inside the locked bathroom of a Southbridge Street strip club last year has led to the arrest of a bouncer at that club. Easton Byfield, 35, of Thayer Pond Drive, Oxford, was arrested Friday night and charged with assault and battery, kidnapping, unarmed robbery and filing a false crime report. Records show he was arrested at Platinum Premier, 241 Southbridge St. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Worcester Central District Court. The video, which was on Youtube.com and other Internet sites yesterday, shows a man being punched several times and money allegedly being taken out of his wallet by the strip club employee. Police received several anonymous tips Thursday referring to the video of the Platinum Premier employee allegedly assaulting a patron, police said in a press release. The information police received included the date of the incident and the suspect’s name. Mr. Byfield was then arrested. After reviewing the video and obtaining information, detectives tracked down the victim, a 25-year-old Worcester resident, police said. Police were told during the investigation that the incident occurred May 25, police said. The victim told police two bouncers at the club escorted him into the bathroom and accused him of dealing drugs in the club, police said. He said one of the bouncers filmed the incident while the other bouncer assaulted him and robbed him of $300. According to police, the victim said he feared for his safety after the alleged assault and did not report it to police because the bouncers had his name and address. The video is almost four and a half minutes and apparently takes place in the bathroom at the strip club. A patron is brought into the bathroom and ordered to empty his pockets by the employee, identified by police as Mr. Byfield. The patron pulls out his wallet, cell phone, cash and other items and places them near the sink. The employee picks up the phone, goes through it and even tries to make a call as the patron protests, the video shows. The employee accuses the man of selling something in the club. The reference appears to be to drugs, but the patron was never charged with selling drugs and none was found. During the video, the employee talks to the person shooting the video. over under is 8.5 in my honest opinion.. To much national attention.. the judge will make an example out of him.. you are really forgetting that they are charging him with kidnapping.. granted unlikely that sticks.. it will still haven an affect on the overall sentence.. 300 dollars isn't that much if you have a lot of money and you are out with your buds messing around at the club. This bouncer is a straight up douche bag. Whoever posted that carrying $300 is suspicious is without a clue or is in poverty. I am far from big time but I always carry atleast $500 cash for emergencies. What happened in this video is a disgusting abuse of authority. Unfortunately this isn't an isolated incident and happens often. Bouncers have a "God" complex and often engage in this type of activity. Poor kid just a the strip club trying to have a good time and gets bullied by a punk. Also I wonder if this could be classified a hate crime with the bouncer making the white boy bow down and pray to the "big brown man"?

Happens in America fairly often, and in countries that can't get their schit together all the time. I can understand getting mad at the video, but this wasn't some one-time great injustice. Shakedowns similar to and worse than this happen everywhere. I myself have had it happen to me in Mexico and Brazil (damn near sober both times and causing no trouble whatsoever), and if I would have "not been a punk" and swung on anyone, I doubt I'd have made it back, let's not be retarded here. It's rarely ever a 1-on-1 scenario even if it seems that way at the time. If it wasn't for the other bouncer, this would have been just another instance swept under a very big rug.

The big thing here in Vegas is throwing drunk strip club patrons, male and female out in the streets, not by where the cabs are, but in the back alleys where there are always several lowlifes ready to take advantage. There may even be some kickback involved. Would surprise me none.
