      well I could argue the same could be said about any team on any given night. I think betting the total here is something we could legitimately analyze and discuss as opposed to picking a winner, which I think is a far more of a tossup.

          line opened up at 265.5, not sure what to make of this. Does this line always jump because majority of bettors will naturally take the over considering it's an all-star game with no defense.

            Disagree, I think its a crapshoot. On any given night you can analyze statistics, injuries, home/away, rest, etc. In this game all of that is out the window, leaving nothing to analyze. You may as well be betting on the total of a Harlem Globetrotters game.

              That's true, but I think point of anything can happen on any given night is still true. There are multiple upsets every night in every sport. You can analyze all the numbers you want, but won't matter when a team just doesn't show up. I would say betting the total on this game is slightly more of a crapshoot then your average NBA total.
