If with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

Hey Brock. Always nice to have the worst handicapper in the history of sports betting come and stop by and chime in. How's the broken down shack treating you pal? Little chilly outside?

Yeah and the Buffalo Sabres are 20-1 when the temperature in Buffalo is below 10 degrees celsius.
You see how I can point out meaningless stats that happened in the past and do not affect this game at all?

10-2 is not a meaningless stat....
BUF has lost in last few games to two of the worst teams in NHL and the blues just beat the best team....

This thread was initially suppose to be sarcastic to make fun of Warriorfan but now that you bring that up Willy I'll put a little bit on it. Good Luck.

yeah it is funny how those yearly streaks work...last night the caps played sharks in san jose...caps are like winless in last 16 or 17 years there...and guess what happened...they lost even after sharks just finished long 7 game road trip...imagine that.
back to blues game...the backup goalie for the blues is lifetime 6-1 with GAA 1.70 vs BUF...but continue to talk yourself into making all of that imaginary money....

Honestly this is like the worst statistic ever. Buffalo plays them once a year...don't even post something like that...it's useless I hope you aren't factoring a bet based on that

These teams are all over the place. Seems like an incredibly tough game to predict. Buffalo seems like the better play, but St. Louis is coming off a great win. I guess the question is how good/bad is Conklin?

And he has a GAA of over 3 and a losing record this season, not to mention the sabres are playing well lately or that st louis isn't. Buf at home. Those stats don't mean shit considering they haven't played since 2009 and just so you know buf won that meeting.
I am pretty new to sb in general but even I know those historical stats don't mean anything in hockey. Not saying its a lock but if you actually look at real stats/trends this is a good play.
If you think the caps losing on the road to a good team proves that buf is a bad play then fade away sir.

you are like most posters and suffer from reading comprehension...it is alright...I will go over it again albeit slowly.
My comment was made after some people stated that the 10-2 stat was meaningless. Last night the caps lost AGAIN in san jose where they have been winless in last 16 years. The sharks had just finished a grueling 7 game road swing and had to fly across country from nashville to get ready for the caps. The caps still lost. Are you able to see the correlation?
Buff lost to Isles and Leafs in last few games while Blues beat the Canucks...big difference in quality of teams but alas...bet away on BUF..it is a game played on ice and thus you could get some lucky bounces. I have already bet on the Blues because that line is going to drop further.

All I'm trying to say is imo buf is a good play. Stl lost their starting goalie and despite a few loses buf has a better record over the last 10 games, better goals for, better pp% and is at home. That's my logic for playing buf. You are qouting stats from over a year ago, sure stl can win its the nhl, and you will say it proves your 10 year trend, doesn't make it a smart play imo.
