Too risky, i make 2 bets a year, the 2 Gatorade duels, take the 2 guys already locked into the front row, to get beat by whoever you can get as a matchup.

I hit the Daytona winner last year. I bet it somewhat. There are usually a couple of great NASCAR cappers in in the subforum. Onlooker is one of them. You might not recognize him without his eye thingies.

Fun sport to bet, 5D and Greek have some good matchups. Just cap the matchups and if you have the better car but wreck or have bad racing luck don't let it bother you.

That is one of the tracks I don't bet. No restrictor plate races for me. Comes down to the last lap. Crap shoot. Just fun to watch them.

About 6 years ago, I was a member of Vegas Insider, back when you paid like $100 a year for full access to all their handicappers. I followed one guy there betting NASCAR - can't remember his name (Truschel maybe?) - but he would give you like three drivers per race with unit ratings so you bet on all three. He tore it up. I made a couple grand that year on a sport that I never watch.

also some books offer a bet of x driver to finish in the top 5, top 10....dont have to pick the winner. some guys do this over and over. busch, johnson, harvick to name a few.
