Thats certainly true, but even Bill Cowher didn't have the type of success Tomlin has had.

no matter what, Tomlin won't get as much credit as he might deserve until he coaches a team that isn't perceived as a hand me down from Cowher, one year removed from a super bowl.

they did got 8-8 in Cowher's last year, but alot of the talent stayed the same. I think their old D coordinator maybe deserves just as much credit as Tomlin. The D has carried the Steelers year in and year out

THIS!! See the problem that still plagues us as a society of individuals trying to be unified is racism. Although I hope that one day this will change, I honestly believe that the end is a great distance away. My president is black, well my blake griffin is white, blah blah blah. Until we get through the idiotic eyes that still view color as factor of character and why we do what we do, man will continue down the path of moral and social decline. All that being said, Tomlin is a great motivator, the best in the game right now. I need to see, like others have stated a little more turnover and draft picks to come down from his team. He will be around for a long time.

Anytime people go on about the "decay" of society, it seems they gloss over the last few thousand years of human brutality. More progress would be awesome, but we're only a generation removed from apartheid and segregation, so let's all catch our breath.
