Kobe just scored 81 a few years back. Wilt scored 75+ on a consecutive basis because he was a giant playing among shrimps. The most overrated player in nba history in my opinion. Kobe's 81 was a thing of beauty- Wilt's 100 was garbage. I have no respect for that accomplishment

So, I wont go as far as to say it's impossible, but I do think it would have to be a special player (Kobe, Lebron) and a special set of circumstances...

Both are accomplished highly due to physical abilities over other people. Wilt's not a less accomplished player because how he succeeded was less pretty than what Kobe does.

If I were a betting man (hur hur), I would put a lot on that number being bullshit. Just do some math estimates. 10k is much more conceivable, but I'd bet it's even less than that.

Wilt was a giant playing among college-level midgets. He was way ahead of his time, there was only about 10-15 stars in the league at that time and everyone else was as good as D2 college level players today. Carefully study the film if you don't believe me. Wilt's 100 points were all layups, dunks, and easy buckets. He scored over 70 on several occassions too like it was nothing. The league is WAY different when Bryant scored 81. Wilt would never accomplish his 100 points in the modern era. Never.

There's no true Centers left in the NBA, Wilt would dominate right now. Add today tech/steroids/training.
