I prefer democrats over republicans but I don't consider myself what I like to call "stupid liberal". If anything I would classify myself as anti-big brother, anti-big business, and pro-social equality (on grounds of your basic human needs like healthcare & shelter). Just because less than 1% of the population does something bad with a gun doesn't mean that the other 99%+ should be punished for it. With or without gun laws bad things would still happen.

I think the biggest problem with US Citizens is that they are too apathetic to force change and feel that it is more convenient to let the politicians tell them what is right when it should be the other way around.

We will see. Deep down I would like to see our government internally overthrown. However, I think the next President (regardless of who gets elected) will give us a little back and relax what could turn into a real life version of V for Vendetta.
