#9no. no one cares about the sunshine millions. overhyped event for state breds results in shippers to both tracks. can't pick them. no one cares which state wins the most points. it's like those jockey challenge cards. or the claiming crown at canterbury. all that makes it unbettable. too confusing. no one really handicaps anyway. if they did you would end up with favorites most of the time. you would be suprised at the blind bettors out there or lucky number players.Comment -

#13people want to bet favorites so they can cash tickets to keep playing. thats why they're favorites. people are convinced that someone knows more than they do and if the horse is favored he must be the best and they bet on them because 95% of players don't have a clue as to how to pick against the favorite. chalk mentality also applies in sports betting especially betting the over on totals. how many times i've heard people bet the over so they can win their bet by halftime.Comment -
