Do you have a small space heater? Try blasting that in the bathroom with the door shut. Just like a sauna baby!

Wierd as the water pipes are rarely in the exterior walls.

If there is another floor/story below that bathroom, check there as well and the freeze might below the actual faucet that isn't working.

Tear through that wall JJ and tape it up. This stuff rocks for seasonal type of cabins and such here in MN! The pipe heat tape works wonders. But, if you don't want to renavate your walls and home, stick to the drip method on a freezing night.

If you have a crawl space under your place stick an electric heater in there.

Does this mean they will automatically break when they thaw out??
If they haven't broken yet you are OK. They only break when water turns into ice and expands in volume. So when it starts thawing it shouldn't expand more.

Well I would assume if frozen they have ice and might break.

Like I said if they haven't broken yet they won't brake now. If there was water when they froze and has expanded in volume as ice and they haven't broken yet it means the ice expansion is not greater than the pipe diameter meaning there is a gap between the walls of the pipes and the ice and the pipes will not break.

                            Thanks Paver

                            Water working, no pipes broke

I just basically heated bathroom and temps spiked up a little also which helped

Now letting water drip a little

                            Thanks for all advice here

what ever you do dont use a propane torch to un freeze it it will boil the water in the pipe then it hits the ice in the pipe and boom you got a split pipe with water running all over the place only use a passive warm up like that guy with hair dryer

We live in the cold to deal with cities with real character like Boston and NYC. Florida is a piece of shit. Santa Barbara is great but I love Fall and the seasons way too much to live anywhere without it permanently. This is coming from a born Californian but I grew up in the Northeast. I'm not defending living in JERSEY but definitely understand why people live in NYC (higher salaries, amazing character, energetic city) and 100% people who live in Boston area. Quality of life is better, way better off during a recession due to medical career opportunities here as well as a slew of other things. These man made shit holes are only good to escape the cold for a few days.
