Best solution is to let your significant other be involved in your life by turning them into a mini degenerate. Let them develop their roulette system at the casino. Try to keep monetary amounts in check though but that is all relative.

My suggestion is that if you find a someone who tolerates your gambling do not disclose bet amounts or results. You become desensitized to amounts after awhile whereas significant other does not. Loss aversion magnifies mental pain. Anything over a $500+ loss and they will be calling GA. You can try to explain the whole concept of advantage gambling but most do not understand/are unable to understand/refuse to understand. If you're lucky to get one that does get it, previous advice still stands. Lots of stress involved in gambling no need for them to unduly suffer.
