#4There may be other answers or positions from sports that paid a heck of a lot more, but Reggie Bush comes to mind. Joke of a running back, slot receiver and punt returner at best. MAYBE a backup situational running back.Comment -

#8jon koncak Koncak is perhaps best remembered for the six-year, US$ 13 million contract he received from the Hawks in 1989 - an unprecedented total for a reserve. The deal was roundly criticized since it paid Koncak more than Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.Comment -

#15Allen Iverson...yes, he can score (shooting a little over 40% with a ton of shots every game), he is quick, can steal the ball, etc. But he has never made any of his teammates better.Comment -

#27(On a more serious note, having read the thread I see far too many MLB names and nowhere near enough NBA guys. For instance, do you guys realize Stephon Marbury signed a four-year, $77 (!) million contract a few years ago?!)Comment -

i know he has probably brought attendance up, but i'm sure the avg. ticket price is only around $40 and they probably only get 15-18,000 people a game, and play around 30-35 games a year, half at LA, now i assume the attendance will probably go up at all games he's at, assuming he isn't injured. so you have roughly 30 games a year at roughly 15,000 a game, for an AVERAGE ticket price of $40. i'm not good at math, but it seems like roughly 300 games to get your money worth out of him.Comment -

#33Aw, Ep, that stings, I love the Ausmus. Plus even if his entire career was a bust, he'd still have cost his owners something like $35-$37 million tops. A lot more has been wasted on a lot less.
