keep burning off more calories then you take in. Like in the show Survivor, those guys get ripped 6 packs cuz there starving. Im not saying you should starve yourself but just spend alot of time on the treadmill and do alot of crunches and you should be there

Exercise will only take you so far rod, the rest is food intake, ensuring plenty of sleep and a genetic makeup that allows you to look 'ripped'....GL

Eat perfect + cardio + some kind of weighted ab workout (100 crunches won't cut it) + time + dedication = perfect abs

Apply a thin layer of Preparation H over your abs.

yes rod. definitely by diet and cardio-type training. they say everyone has abs but its just under a layer of fat. the most ripped ive ever been in my life like 2 years ago- nice abs....i was eating salads, walkin to the gym, hitten the treadmill when i got there...\

gnc sells a "ripped kit" that has a relatively inexpensive regimen of 3 supplements you can take while dietingand exercising to really define you.

To get STRONG ABS: Do compound exercises, I can tell you still don't do these because not many people do all the Big 3. But deadlifts and squats will give you very strong abs on their own. NOTHING ELSE NEEDED!

                                To help abs SHOW:

                                Step 1:
                                Weighted Ab exercises.
You want to add mass to a muscle, you need to do weighted exercises, this is no secret.

                                Step 2:
                                Diet and Cardio.
This will get rid of the fat around the abs to make them visible after you build them up.

If you are serious about it, this should work fairly soon as you don't look to be fat or anything. But if you are just a casual gym goer or don't take diet seriously, don't take my advice as I hate people who go to the gym casually but want to look like the people who are dedicated.

fire is right. but you cant just jump on a tredmill and expect it to work. you have to be out running hills. the change in slope is what engages the abs and will start to burn the fat around the ab muscle. just a long mid speed run on hills. both up and down

Working your abs in the gym/at home only makes your abdominals stronger. But that means nothing if you have a layer of stubborn belly fat covering it. You must cut your body fat by eating healthier and less calories. Cardio will help cut fat faster. But remember that you can't target one area of your body to lose fat (usually the face is first). It will happen over a period of time.

if your a pro athlete especially you don't want real low bodyfat levels unless your a moron that doesn't know any better. you'll end up injured. I doubt ten players in the nfl can see there abs, nor do they want too.

Pro bodybuilders go on a low carb diet to lose weight , not a low fat diet. They also take diuretics and steroids to help achieve it.

When they are actually in there best health, they can't even see there abs unless its there upper abs.

diet is def important, but you just have to go crazy with ab workouts. from exp i rec the p90x ab ripper x. though he tells you to not to do it every day, you can def do it 2 or 3 times a day once you can handle it and it delivers ridiculous results. absolutely works.

its all in genetics, and diet
if you dont have the genetics for it you'll never get there w/out help from something that can temporarily change your genetics.
