Bill, I was told specifically from one of the managers that they would take care of it by Thursday of last week and that their reputation was very important to them. I called them late on Thursday and got a different story from Chuck the main guy.

You should have been one of the accts I BCC'd. The latest guarentee is that SBI will pay by the end of this month. They seem to have some internal concerns and I'm not sure why they wouldn't just pay now and collect from the agent but this is where they sit. I still like the group's chances.

They are not going to pay anyone anything. This was a scam right from the start. Betsbi.com is just a front for the scam. It is so obvious.

This is bullshit!!!!! The owner already said he's going to cover it and now he's going to do a 180??? We're not talking a ton of money here.

You at least have to lower the parent company's rating. It really doesn't sound like a trustworthy operation and I know what you're going to write. This is between me and the agent, not the book and that's a cop-out!!!! They gave this guy a ton of credit with no money up front. They must have known this agent pretty well to do that and aren't doing anything to get my money from him. Whether they like it or not, it comes back to them.

While I can sympathize with your frustration and all, please calm down sir. Because like Mr.Dozer has mentioned above (post #43), BetSBI did they will pay by the end of April. So if they don't pay by their own self imposed deadline, then feel free to bash them if you wish.

We do care which is why we routinely warn players against doing handshake deals with strangers. The truth is, these players were lucky that SBI made the mistake of using their brand website instead of giving the agent a cookie cutter turnkey unaffiliated website. Usually the scams aren't affiliated with a site that has done legitimate business. SBI now says "by end of this month." If they break their own self imposed deadline again it will be shared. Perhaps if there are still some post-up players sending in they will appreciate the information.

SBR's goal here is to keep communicating with SBI and help improve the chances that victims get their money.

If anyone every inquires about SportsBettingInternational or any of there sister books, I will definitely make mention of this thread particularly. Now I understand there isn't much of a bright side to this situation, however at least they did get downgraded. That should hopefully make players think twice about playing at this crawdad book in the future.

BetSBI (SBR rating D+) fails to pay scammed players after repeated promises

A BetSBI (Sports Betting International) representative contacted multiple players setting them up with a line of wagering credit. Players won approximately $2,000 and filed a complaint with SBR when their contact was no longer answering his phone. The sportsbook's manager told SBR that the agent gave other players credit as well and those players lost over $15,000. Since those players refused to pay the agent he was unwilling to pay the unrelated winning account holders. The sportsbook's manager gave multiple dates for when it would step in and pay the players if the issue could not be resolved directly with the agent. After assuring both the players and SBR that the accounts would eventually be paid, SBI has gone back on its word. Players should be aware that BetSBI, which claims it no longer has post-up players, works with rogue agents and may be facilitating a scam.

That guy Chuck who is in Charge at betsbi.com is a liar and a scamming thief. Not a man of his word. Avoid any agent that uses betsbi.com

Sorry Bluehorse. We hoped there might be some integrity at SBI. Very few complaints when they were marketing for post-up.

BurtRapp should cross his debt off. Usually my personal opinion is it's between two people but it's clear from how others were dealt with the person on the other end was not going to pay if he won.
