i hate to say I agree. Pacman DESTROYS sugar shane. Shane is just happy to get another big payday before he goes out.

This is a lose lose situation for Manny's camp. If he wins, the haters will say, "so what...he beat up a washed up fighter..." if he loses..."SEE!! I told you Manny was over rated!"
Sugar Shane Mosley is not to be overlooked...the man still has skills.

Mosely has an iron chin, he also has more power than anyone Pac has faced up to this point (40 ko's) AND he is also a great body puncher and that may be just what is needed to beat Pac after Margarito hurt him with body shots. It may be a tougher fight than many believe.

Of course the Floyd fight wasn't happening. You guys haven't heard of his legal problems? That's their scapegoat.
Manny should have taken the Marquez fight. It makes sooooo much sense right now, but that's boxing for you.

This post makes no sense. He's NOT going to lose, and Mosley IS washed up. It looked like Floyd was just "that" good (and he is), but the Mora fight proved he's simply over the hill.
There will always be critics. Manny will knock Shane out, beat Shane in a more convincing fashion like he did Hatton and DLH, and people will still praise it, while the rest shoot it down. None of it matters.

Goddamn. Mosley's already halfway punch drunk. With Mayweather's legal problems there wasn't much chance of that fight taking place, but a 147 fight with Andre Berto, Paul Williams, of JM Marquez would have been far better.
I hate Bob Arum.

manny wins with ease at around -400/-450 price.
fight with marquez isn't going to happen. marquez promoted by golden boy and manny doesn't want to fight at lower than 144. marquez has no shot at any weight higher than 135. floyd toyed with him at 147.
fight with berto would be interesting, but berto is a little too inexperienced and brings practically zero name recognition to the table. let him beat a decent fighter and he'll get a shot.
williams is just too tall for manny and getting d-bo'd by martinez puts him further back.
shane is an easy w, who brings a name to the match. higher ppv sales. no longer tied to golden boy, so arum is happy.
i'd like to see floyd fight martinez since the pacman fight is on pause until the fall of 2011 at earliest. since the real reason the floyd/manny fight isn't happening is the ppv split, let them each fight someone first and whoever sells the most ppvs for their fight gets the higher cut of the megafight. i think a 40/40 split with winner taking the remaining 20 would be great, but neither camp would take that.
