exactly u never know. Iceminers26 was a well respected guy on this forum. I asked around and everyone said he was good people. He turned out to be a stiff just like Jersey Love and Whatsgood.

Just ask for a SSN? Offshore books are easy, because their information is readily available. Locals are tougher, but usually if you can get a license plate number, that should give you enough information. But I certainly have more info on my local that he would like.

Going to take an educated guess and say most locals have numerous charges and they don't give a crap about their credit scores so tell me what a background/credit check is going to tell you about the ability of a bookie that is breaking numerous laws to take your bets? Explain that to me.

How about when a book is rated let's say a B+ and they stop paying?

Local I use is an executive at a consulting firm. His FICO is likely twice that of yours. His credit score is just a sign of his integrity and financial responsibility. Whether he's breaking the law or not is irrelevant. Almost impossible to survive in this country with a bad credit score.

In regards to an offshore book not paying me, I would like to share some techniques in applying pressure, but considering where we are I will refrain.

Whatever hole you may think I'm in is nowhere near as deep as yours. You've essentially stated that people have made an effort to, or successfully have, stiffed you. I had a roommate several years back that paid me the rent late AT LEAST 2 weeks late every month. I let it slide for a long time.
