I got mine 2 months ago for about the same price. It only has Intel I-3, 4gig ddr3 and 320 hard drive. You got one sweet deal compared to mine.

the only thing I don't like about XPSs is that they dont have a number pad on the side.

agreed. XPS's are good quality too tho, as stated by NrmlCurvSurfr, he hasnt turned his off for 5 years and it still works like a charm.

So far after 1 day I absolutely love the thing. Only things that would make this better would be a number pad on the side, a blu-ray player, and a Core i7 but that would be a hefty chunk of change to buy that.
