It just happens more frequently than people realize. It's so easy now with the technology. Coach calls a timeout. Owner gets the call from Vegas. Relays information to the coach via the headset and Voila! The final score is fixed.

I'm not saying all games are fixed. But it is very easy to fix a spread and have all teams happy. I have seen it last week with SMU/CF. It's more prevalent in basketball because of the way games end with FT's. I have seen a game where Kansas was up by 21 points (the spread was -22.5) and Iowa St missed their last shot with 5 seconds left and the Kansas guard went coast to coast in lightning speed to score an uncontested lay up and cover the spread.

SMU/CF was a battle of nitwit coaches.June jones ****** the spread up but he wouldn't have had the chance if Oleary didn't try a 50 yard field goal instead of burying SMU inside the 20.That one last night was real suspect the way it played out.
