i played the lions as they covered last week in a spot where everyone thought theyd b blown out by the big bad bears.i also played the lions as heavy 7 pt dogs in there biggest gm of the season on thanksgiving day in front of a national audience. going up against a packers team who are fighting for there playoff lives today?i dont see how there defense can keep rodgers from lighting them up much like brady did over the course of 4 qaurters..the lions will wear down and rodgers will gash em w big plays. packers 34 lions 17

Early on? It was in the last couple minutes of the first half....a first half in which the Rodgers-led Packers had failed to score (also in part due to his receivers' incompetence).

Concussion or not, it's safe to say that Det +7 was the right side.

You are 100% correct. They couldn't do squat with Rodgers in there. Quarless fumbled on the first drive, Jennings dropped a TD, just a PATHETIC performance by the Pack with so much at stake. McCarthy is to blame for this one, his guys weren't ready to play and got manhandled up front by the Lions all day. Detroit was the play all right, glad I didn't go heavy on them; just lost a teaser that's all.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Detroit was the 2nd worst team this weekend and they just happened to be playing the worst. Their defense showed up, so it wasn't a complete failure, but any time a team has 0 passing yards in the first half I wouldn't be smugly patting myself on the back for picking them.
