What the hell is this supposed to mean..???
I have heard all of this sh*t for 5 years and most of it from the AJ sites (I think he has four) so this is all old news but I noticed on element that caught my attention...

"Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs." write Lewis Seiler and former Congressman Dan Hamburg of the watchdog group Voice of the Environment, Inc.

Why would they detain and arrest people without legal recourse "to support the rapid development of new programs"..??? What the f*ck does that mean...???

The video at the bottom is pretty interesting...

Shams, man, I had this guy about 10 years ago really open my eyes about what this nation is really coming to. This is no suprise. Government runs in cycles and this government is becoming a dictatorship day by day. We are not "free". We are not a true democracy. We are a police state. If anything Haliburton runs this country. It is really scary too. Not only can BUsh declare martial law whenever he feels like it, there are almost no limits to what he can do through the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act is down right scary as hell. It was a calculated expansion of mostly unlimited powers that was endorsed by congress at a time when no one would question it. Hell, they didn't even have time to read it and most admitted they didn't. INSANE!!!

It's sad when people ''sheeple''have to out of necessity live in or near big urban cities where the government has herded you into so they have control over you.For some,it's that the government has created and manipulated it where that's where the jobs are at where your profession lies. Why do you think the government gives incentives for urban renewal, tax free zones.etc.to big liberal cities where the nations tallest buildings are located so that people are confined to relatively small areas?

Then for some people that stay in big cities,it's that you are 3rd to 5th generation residents and you just fell into a sentimental mindset where you are familiar with the place and have a phobia about leaving and making a change. You see so many people on the news where life is hell in urban areas where gun fire is a nightly event and they could have sold their places in run down areas for a pretty penny and left. Now with the economy, housing and mortgage industry in free fall,it's too late to get out.

If someone was lucky enough to have sold a house for a big profit and saved a few bucks, get the hell out to as vacant, little taxed and less regulated a state as you can find. There are some pretty cheap cost of living areas in states like Nevada,Idaho and South Dakota. There are parts of Idaho that stay pretty warm in the winter from a Pacific air flow where heating and cooling a house is cheap.

If you have a Super Wal Mart near by,clean water all around you and access to all the comforts in life like satellite tv and the internet, why do you need to be in a big urban sprawl anymore havingt he government always opening a can of whoop ass on you at the drop of a hat?

Does anyone watch all the Yuppy Sex in the City,etc.etc.even Seinfeld where everyone talks of their professional jobs, big incomes etc.All the people in tv shows that are meant to reflect real life in NYC and LA that are supposedly living the good life live really crappy lives where they are in debt,in missery and being controled, taxed, told what to think, when to go places.etc.

i see your point. but you're forgetting one thing, people are social animals. miserable as they are, but they meet and talk with poeple everyday, which will make them happier. i agree with your on living in megatroplis (NYC for example) is like living in pigeon holes.

living in montana has health benefits, but i feel damn lonely if i have to drive 10 minutes to see a person and another 20 minutes to go to super walmart...going to walmart is pretty depressing btw. besides, there aren't that many cute young girls outside of the big cities...if you bang one, you might have end up in the wedding chaple with a shotgun pointing to your back..hehe

i seem to remember right after 911, a bunch a Arabs in Michigan somewhere getting detained for no reason. it was like a suburb of Detroit that has grown over the years to have a whole lot of Arabs in one area.

i've always been skeptical myself, cause i live in Bullitt county, which is directly below Jefferson county where Louisville is located, and ever since i've been voting we've had electronic voting, but yet the county that has the biggest city in the state still has paper ballots, or at least all the people i talk to that vote in Jefferson county say the places they vote at still have paper ballots. And here in Bullitt, which always shows the numbers as being a big Democratic county, sure seems to get big voting numbers for Republicans. I can only vote in general elections anyway, well sometimes in primaries if an Independent is running and i like him/her, but usually its only Donkeys or Elephants, so i have to wait for the general election cause i'm an independent.

i live like 3 minutes from a super Walmart, and i don't go there unless i just have to. if i need groceries i go to Kroger, if i need automotive stuff i go to Napa or Autozone, i need computer or supplies i go to Office Depot, i need clothes i go to Kohls or the Mall, i even go to the Tractor&Farm Supply store that is right across the street, and would rather spend a few bucks more there than to shop at Wal-Mart. it doesn't matter when you go to Wal-mart, you can got on a Tues. at 2 in the morning and that focker is packed.

Don't get me wrong guys this is not new here and it really is not new to me... I have been aware of all of this for years now and TOLEDO actually is a test market for well wired cameras and "military grade" servallance for the state of OHIO... In lebanon and Isreal it is a police state there and although I am use to it I don't think "US Citizens" are going to like it at first but they'll adjust...

I use to warn people back in 02' about the Patriot Act and all the "US Citizens" thought it was just for the bad terrorists and didn't want to hear that it is intended for them... Well now I am getting a little joy listening to them talk to me about their concern over their civil liberties...

BCrude you are right on the money here... I always tell people to just move to the country and you won't notice if anything bad happens... At the peak of the war in Lebanon the villages didn't even notice unless they went into the cities...

I agree with everything but this...

I think they (elite) threw that pebble out and saw too much resistance... The revised plan IMO is to outfit your clothes with these chips and maybe even one around a necklace for tracking purposes.. The rest, although with a gloomy tint, is quite accurate but it won't be so "doomy-gloomy"...
