Sorry, Crazyl, Tennessee at Vandy tops Osama at Hilly. Keep us posted, though, and try and be objective.

No, crazyl is right. This is a rout. I mean this is a f$cking bloodbath. I'm switching back and forth between the two, but sportsgirl, one of these events determines the future of the next 4-8 years and one will be forgotten by next week. Give props to the debate.

            Clinton-frantic and desperate
            Obama-deliberate and thoughtful

I ask you all as human beings: please vote for Obama. He's legit. He'll improve our image in the world. Have some heart.

Are they going to say anything you don't already know? What's the over/under for how many times Obama says the word change.

Voting for McCain over Obama would be a BIG mistake.

Hillary looks mean. Her body language indicates to me, she thinks she's losing and has her back against the wall. Like a price fighter against the ropes looking for a knock out punch.

Russert is killing Clinton more than Obama is. His questions are slanted and have been designed to corner Clinton. It hasn't been a fair fight, and I don't like Clinton one bit.

One of her many problems -- when she split hairs regarding the words "denounce" and "reject". It was exactly the type of semantical game that Bill always used to play -- only difference was, people actually liked him and he had a charm that she just does not possess.

Obama has the nomination in his pocket. And the Republicans have the Democrats in their pocket -- 20 of the last 28 years and counting!!!

Imagine if you could find a sports team that held the top spot 20 out of the last 28 years. They would be the Republicans of the sports world

This debate is like watching two teams fight it out for the #16 seed in the NCAA playoffs. They fight like hell, feel real good when they get to the Big Dance and then take their whooping like a good, little boy -- going home like everyone knew they would.

But at least those players don't have to pay for the privilege. Hillary and Obama do/did/will continue to do! And it is damned funny to watch!!!

Why are they having another debate only 5 days after the last one? I think Hillary thought that the more debates they had, Barack would eventually hang himself if given enough rope. Unfortunately, the plan isn't working and Hillary is looking worse. I thought the last debate was a draw and that Hilary finished strong but she isn't coming off very well tonight.

The Associated Press' more objective version of this debate:

CLEVELAND (AP) — Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama are making their final pitches to voters in Ohio and Texas, must-win contests for Clinton, after a mostly somber and policy-filled debate that seemed unlikely to alter the political calculus of the race.
In sometimes testy exchanges, the two sparred over health care, the war in Iraq and trade, particularly the North American Free Trade Agreement which was negotiated in her husband's first term — but is seen by labor and other critics as a chief culprit in the loss of manufacturing jobs in Ohio and other industrial Midwestern states.
Both candidates have called for renegotiating parts of the trade pact, but in different terms.
It was their final debate before next Tuesday's contests, which also include races in Vermont and Rhode Island.
Clinton needs big wins after 11 successive Obama victories and after Obama's steady increase in gathering delegates. It seemed unlikely the debate at Cleveland State University would provide that lift.
Neither one seemed to knock the other off stride.

What leads you to believe their view was more objective, or that mine or anyone else's wasn't objective enough?

I watched it with an open mind, but felt her answers just weren't as good and when she tried to call Obama out on something, he always seemed to maintain the upperhand. He deflects things very well and also lands shots without really swinging, he handles himself much better.

He looked fine last night, but he continues to say things that are going to haunt him when it comes time for a general election.

Hillary was a disaster last night.

Both candidates continue to tout policies that have absolutely no chance of reaching fruition, and as soon as there is any friction placed against their rhetoric there will be significant backtracking.

No offense, my friend. I really ment that as a news agency, I would expect a little more objectivity than what your opinion was of the debate. I didn't see it and have no intention of voting for either one of them.

That's one hell of a statement to make. Could this possibly be because you're involved with news media yourself?

I do take offense to that although I know you're not intending it as an insult. I don't expect more objectivity from any form of a news outlet on matters that pertain to politics, there is far more bias and influence in those circles. I'm capable of thinking for myself in an objective manner, regardless of whether or not I have a press pass...

Hillary showed her true colors during 9/11 when the country was devastated and Dubya actually stepped up to the plate and gave a convincing, powerful, speech that we all needed. Unfortunately for that phony bitch, the cameras went to her and she had this disgusted , sourpusss look on her face regarding Bush's speech. She couldn't put aside the political differences just for a moment after 3000 people were wiped out and families were destroyed. A personstrue colors come out during times of adversity and boy... that self-centered bitch. Would have been impossible for her husband not to mess around
