Thats certainly up for debate, you just haven't stated any real reasons. The fact that they didn't play well at LSU doesn't mean much. For starters, 7+ players were sick and secondly, every team is going to have off nights, its a long season.

btw, i hear the women at Ole Miss are not bad to look at. Bring a few to the bash for further inspection.

Now if you want to get in an argument about our women we might actually have a problem.

DC is a diverse town, but the crime is a bit high. by 'a bit', i mean there is a lot of murder in the city. if you can look past that, there is a lot to do and its only 35 minutes from Baltimore which is nice.

                where else have they lived?

They liked DC better than Eugene huh? ive heard great things about Oregon. The only places i'd like to live for a bit are Knoxville and Oregon. I don't know that towns of Oregon well, so i cant specify much more than that, ive just heard that its beautiful.

They just said it was great for young people, but then again they lived there 20 years ago. I don't really remember much about Eugene but Bend, OR is definitely an amazing place to live.

Not trying to be offensive but why is Knoxville always talked down upon?

Its not much of a city. There is a bit of crime there (half of it from the vols football team) and its not much to look at. The Tennessee Campus is great, but there isn't much else there.

I've been saying all year that Kansas has the best team, and based on efficiency stats, you wonder how they ever lose a game as they are #1 in offensive Points per Possession and #2 in defensive PPP. But the the bottom line is they have found ways to lose...3 times to teams they should have beaten. With all three losses being on the road, that does not bode well for them in the tournament.

Now, I would have to say the best team is North Carolina with a healthy Lawson. He might be back tonight vs. Wake Forest.

I also think Duke would beat Tennessee if those teams hook up. Thing there is Duke is vulnerable to a team with an inside presence, so Tennessee may go further than them simply because of matchups alone.

I would also take Texas over Tennessee the way the Longhorns are playing right now. Remember, they handed the Vols here worst loss of the season, albeit in Austin, but the Horns have shown they could win on the road.

Other than that, I feel that Tennessee would beat all the other leading contenders right now, with the only "sleeper" team with an outside shot against them being Louisville.

Yes, but either team would have a harder time scoring against UCLA. If Memphis has any players left from 2 years ago, you can ask them for verification about this.

Tennessee didn't play Texas in Austin.

I think the toughest match up for the vols would be UNC. A team that likes to run almost as much and also has a dominant inside scorer. Tennessee will probably out hustle every team they play, it will come down to ft and whether or not they face a team thats knocking down 3s for the duration.

Right, just like the ACC whipped up on the SEC last year in the NCAAs. OH WAIT!!! The ACC only had one team get to the Sweet Sixteen and didn't have a single team get to the final four. Oh and which conference won it AGAIN. THE SEC? That's what i thought! But wait, it was a fluke year right? NOPE! Check out 2006: The ACC didn't even make it past the sweet Sixteen. How embarrassing! Meanwhile, the mighty SEC had 2 teams in the final four and took the Championship game. I don't know how the ACC still has all this hype of being so great at basketball. All talk and NO WALK. And it is a complete enigma to me as to why the SEC continues to get disrespect as a conference in basketball after the dominating NCAA performances that they have put up the last two years. And as for the football comment regarding Southern Cal being able to hang with LSU: ROTFLMAO!!!!!! I needed a good laugh today!!!!!

Well, I possibly could if you weren't so biased towards a conference that is the worst it's been in a looooong, long time this year. This year's Vols, while good would not have come close to winning the conference the past 2 years, probably even if you removed Florida from the mix. The Pac-10 is far deeper and superior this year. March will tell if I am right or wrong, but don't bet against it.

biased? how so, i ranked the conferences about a week ago and i ranked the sec below the a-10. maybe if you included facts in your arguments we could be a bit more productive?

Forgive me. For some strange reason, I thought a thread titled "The SEC Just Continues to Kick Ass" might indicate some predilection towards the SEC. Clearly I was mistaken.

That's the best point you've made.

P.S. I really don't hate your team....just the idea of seeing Pat Summitt in a cheerleader's uniform again is enough to send chills down any man's spine. See you in San Antonio - where my Bruins will be playing.
