best bet would be to check her phone when shes showering or cooking, tell her you need to make a call and your cell battery is low or you cant find your phone and then go into the other room and close the door, start talking outloud about sports or work or something but really go thru her call log and text messages

If she has half a brain she will delete calls/texts. Some older phones use SIM cards that can easily be accessed with a sim card reader that costs no more than $20. Every text she sent and received can be seen on that card. If it's a newer phone, you will likely have to backup the phone to your computer and download a software that decodes the text files. (It takes less than 2 minutes to back up a phone, my iphone takes about 30 seconds). Message me if you're interested, I have a software that does this.
