I race bicycles with my kid on the weekend. He's 16 and he finally dropped me last october for the first time. I'm so proud. I'm no Tour de France dude, but I can hammer with some heavy weights for a while. This exercise keeps the abs ripped and gives you alot of leg power. Now all I have to do is get seer's chest and I'm ready for gladiators.

Use multi joint lifts (bench press, squat, pull ups) with heaviest weight you can do for 6-8 reps now. You can keep the sets relatively low. Further on in spring do higher reps 10-15 and add more sets al while watching carbs and upping protein.

When I got a desk job, I gained like 35 pounds in one year. I almost shit myself so my kid wanted to ride the bikes but around here it is basically a gay sport.
