Passes on the 53 yard field goal attempt to win the game in favor of a pun that nets him 19 yards and now the Redskins are driving for the win. Unreal.

#2Fire gary kubiak. Now!
Is this a joke? Is anyone watching this game?
Houston is about to lose.. They passed on a 52 yard FG attempt to win it in OT with Rackers, who is one of the most talented in the game. Already hit a 47 yarder today.. Punt netted 15 yards from where they would have kicked from.
I can't believe I just had this money RIPPED from my hands. A chance to end the game, passed on for the littlest edge over a miss. UNREAL.Comment -

#12Let's be fair here. I'm guessing Rackers wasn't up to a 53 yarder, plus, if he misses it the Skins have great fiekd position. Luckily everything turned out perfectly because Kubiak would have been strung up if they lost.
I myself would have kicked it but I'm not the coach. The Texans showed heart coming back to win this game.Comment -

We will never know, and his players were second guessing as well but hard to just hate on success. They now buy in more than ever.

#20Kubiak knows his players better than anyone posting here for sure. I didn't like the decision when he made it either, but he knows what Rackers is capable of.
Of course if the decision backfired he would be ridiculed all week. Fortunately for the fans of the Texans everything worked out.Comment -

#33Yeah, I'm hoping for similar results like the pre-season game earlier this year. The Texans better do something about that secondary though, they can't keep giving up over 400 yards a game passing and keep expecting to win.Comment
