If these prizes are correct, then the prize gets divided between the total positive units, not the beat the prick margin. For example, a guy finishing +5 gets 5 shares, not (5-0.9) = 4.1. That favors the users that beat the prick by lower margins.

Bill, should $14,000 been awarded instead of $12,000?

Going by this:

Each time the amount of weekly participants increases above 500 by 100 players, $2,000 will be added to the prize pool! Examples: 599 participants means no changes to prize pool. The 600th participant triggers another $2,000 for $12,000 total prize pool. If 800 to 899 people compete in a week, that week BTP prize pool is $16,000. A participant is defined by a contestant who makes the required minimum amount of picks and avoids disqualification.

The 100 additional players above 500 threshold occurred twice, once from 599 to 600, and the other time from 699 to 700. This means that another $2,000 should be added to the prize pool, right?

There was about 100 players that joined, but didnt make picks, making them ineligible for Week1. So only about 670 actually participated = $12k prize money.

On page 7 here http://contests.sbrforum.com/beat-pr...69/standings/1 it shows we made it to 654 this week. Hopefully next week we get the 46 more and move to 14k.

About 100 people entered, but did not enter their four picks, so the 12,000 would be correct.
