... the typical American teenager is a lazy ass ... there are some decent hard working family guys out there that you could probably take advantage of and get to work for next to nothing if it meant he could feed his family that week ... but the teens and early 20's generally won't get out of bed for less than they could get if they went whining for money to mom or dad ...

each generation gets more and more spoiled/lazy/etc

as we get more intelligent we naturally get more spoiled and lazy, smart people realize that they are still going to have food to eat and a roof over their head whether or not they spend 10 hours a day digging ditches/painting houses/etc

many people see that as laziness, i see it as intelligence enough to know there's no real reason to bust your ass in life
