    Comcast Sunday Ticket?
Does Comcast have an equivilant to Direct TVs NFL Sunday Ticket package? I really wanna be able to see every game this year. And it sucks because I cant even get Direct TV if I wanted to, Comcast is a ******* monopoly over here. And I dont want that stupid ******* RedZone shit that comcast has. Is there anything like Sunday Ticket that you guys get?

They also took away espn from my cable package so I would need to upgrade to a zillion different channels. I only watch sports and rarely some news, I am personally incredibly bored by tv. So I canceled and go to my buddies now who has sunday ticket, or just watch games online.

The live redzone channel that Comcast offers is well worth the extra money, in my opinion....

Its ridiculous how you cant get games that you want to see, even if your willing to pay a few hundred dollars for them. And there is absolutely nothing you can do about it because of this cable provider monopoly shit. Theres no reason why games and packages cant just be OnDemand.

How much do you pay for NFL Network? Because all you get with that is the like 6 Thursday night games they have, right? Not sure how much id be willing to pay for that.

How much extra dough you fork over for that? Is it monthly or a one time package deal?

I have comcast too - they are the largest cable provider in the usa.
I don't mind paying for ESPN, etc. - but Comcast is switching everything over to digital now and eliminating all analog offerings. What this means is that you can no longer watch espn, tnt, etc.. live on comcast.

There is about a 5 second delay. It used to be if you had a certain box you had all the analog and all the digital channels. I had no box so it was all analog. Now they eliminated all analog for channels over 35, and they sent me a digital adapter box. Anything coming through thator the regular comcast box will now have the delay.

This is a big deal to me. Does anybody know if any company offers live broadcasts without the delay (for espn, tnt, etc.)? Does Directtv with nfl package? Does AT&T Uverese? Does dish network? cox? Anything else?

Somebody here must have DirectTv, uVerse,........ does anybody know or can anyone compare the feed during a game with someone who has digital comcast? You can pm me and I will compare it with you if needed. Please!

With the creation of the NFL Network they might be setting it up to provide all the games on their own channel. Just hope its not too much.

The $300 they want now is way too expensive and twice as much as the MLB, NBA packages which offer 100 times more games.

I'll gladly pay the $300 if the games are real time - no 5 second delay like comcast digital cable.
                                Is DirectTv delayed or not?

i think the 300.00 is one of the biggest bargains around. its mostly gamblers that buy the ticket. I think the majority of people who have the ticket would pay much more than 300 if they had to. the ticket is priceless for a gambler

pretty sure direct tv is 5-8 seconds or more no matter what since the dish has to take the signal in from space

The cable companies would kill for Sunday Ticket, the "monopoly" they have only pertains to cable. If you can't get Directv it has nothing to do with the cable company at all.

Directv has a delay too. What difference does it make? It's not like you find out what happens in that short period of time. The delay is due to the compression of the signal, HD is delayed longer than standard def.
Trust me the delay on Directv is usually a few seconds more than cable as I'm often watching a game while talking to a friend and he always yells at me if I give away what just happened. He has Directv and I have cable.

Thanks for the answer, though it was not what I was hoping for. It makes a big difference to me as I like to do live-betting and its quite time sensitive. Does AT&T Uverse have the delay?

Is there anywhere to get the uncompressed signal?

Trust me the delay on Directv is usually a few seconds more than cable as I'm often watching a game while talking to a friend and he always yells at me if I give away what just happened. He has Directv and I have cable.

give up live betting. way too difficult. the red zone thing would be the way to go. who cares what happens between the 20's. if you must bet halftime lines and stick with red zone.

Not to be a dick, but why does it matter why it matters? He simply asked a technical question looking for a technical answer. I guess the only way to truly watch anything LIVE, is to be sitting in the stadium.
