If so, how can you take ANY of these guys seriously that have a season long thread but aren't an SBR Pro.
Anyone check the subforums?

#2Sbr pro does not validate you at all
Tracking your picks does though using sbr spreadsheet.
I am starting to look at subforums more as it is easier with forum jump at top right of pages.Comment -

#3Yes SBR Pro doesn't validate you but if someone does not have $200 in a sportsbook to be an SBR Pro, why would you think its a good idea to follow themComment -

#6good observation. I have also noitced 98% of the guys hounding people for service plays are not listed as a pro either. seems like the service plays forum is made up mostly of college kids with nothing better to do in life than beg for plays.Comment -

#9and the thing is, they want points for their plays. commonnnn if they wanted points they'd have filled out the SBR Pro application. These are broke kids looking for a $50 gift card for Burger Kings value menuComment -

#13i think you missed my point there rudy. go check out the mlb subforum and look for a guy named paco. look at the amount of traffic his 1 thread gets and come report back about not wanting to follow a non pro.

this thread involves critical thinking with a question posed. I am not looking for a BECAUSE I SAID SO answer. i want to know why it is a good idea to follow non SBR Pros or why they aren't SBR Pros. And infact, this thread had nothing to do with paco and lakerboy. its a serious question and looking for a serious answer.
Thanks anyway

you're a pro. why don't you start a thread with your picks and see how well that goes over.
as far as why aren't they pros? why don't you send them a PM and find out.Comment -

#20$200 doesn't cover one of my bets.
And before one of you nose-in-the-air "Pros" asks why I'm not a "Pro", I don't care about points. Don't care if it's 12/day, 6/day or 0/day. I qualify to be a "SBR PRO" without depositing additional money is a sponsoring book. Couldn't be bothered...Comment -

#24Pavy, it is funny around here with this "Pro" business. Too many are acting like it's a big deal to have $200 in a sportsbook, strutting around like bigshots.$200 doesn't cover one of my bets.

You don't understand. For the majority of the Pros like the OP $200 is their yearly bankroll so get on with the program..It's a big fukking deal dude!!!Comment -

How the hell did you become a PRO so fast???? You signed up and became a PRO on the same day?
Did you put your application in BEFORE you signed up here in the forum?
Are you someones ghost or just a longtime lurker?
Regardless, Welcome to SBR!

1. you gamble solely with a bookie
2. you don't care about points
3. you don't want SBR involved
But:
1. you only place bets with a bookie is bad line shopping
2. ok i can go with this
3. if you sign up for contests, sbr has your accounts anywayComment
