one of the few games that i have watched a lot of, UofL was playing like they didn't know what a basketball was, and since there was no NBA today, i played a couple puck games, i had Pitt, that bullcrap takedown call at the end of regulation ticked me off, i thought Buff was going to win it in OT on a power play.

That outdoor game was unwatchable,They will claim success for IT being sold out,HOWEVER 75% OF THE TICKETS SOLD WHERE TO CANADIANS(from southern Ontario for the most part) whom cannot afford to go to the games locally.I went to Michigan in the 80's in east Lansing to watch a outdoor NHL game at Spartans stadium i was blitz out of my mind as was everybody else,i don't even remember whom played against the Wings and guest what?it was sold out too!! with mostly CUNNUCKS.IT DIDN'T CHANGE A THING ABOUT HOCKEY STATUS in the STATES.
hockey as reverted to it's original pre-strike state,The only goals that are being scored are coming mostly from power plays,now everyone is playing like Anaheim.They most go 4 by 4 if they cannot go for a bigger ice surface league wide.It is the only way for the best players to be able to express their skills witch is whom the fans want to see not the goons,not fighting,and certainly not the clutch and grab shit witch have come back again to make this league the absolute and unwatchable bore it as become AGAIN!

NHL marketing is terrible they have opening night the same day as the MLB playoffs started and now try this outdoor concept and go head to head with a new years day tradition college football.

NBC has the 2 NFL wildcard games Saturday and the first one starts at 4:30 eastern they should have played this game Saturday at 12:30 pm eastern leading into their football coverage.
