I always disliked the weather in JAN.........and this explains it.

JANUARY averages the most rain per month, AVERAGING ALMOST AN INCH over the past 47 years..........VERY WET MONTH.

4 inches of precip a year in unreal. Too think they say it doesn't rain in SoCal and the average in SD was like 13 inches or 3x more then LV.

Least known fact about LV is that the average high temps in December are mid 50's and that is the average with lows going down into the mid 30's nightly. People just don't realize how cool it is there during the winter (which I love).

Also gets dark around 4:30pm or so for a stretch which can be kind of odd and maybe a little earlier then that if I remember correctly.

What's unclear Fisher? I simply made the correct spelling known. I usually don't mind but it was in two consecutive thread titles so figured I'd adjust it before we went for 3 threads in a row about "avergaes".....
