I am trying to figure out

On Deleware parks website they advertise that the payout on a 3 team parlay is (6.5-1)

Than there is an article at the bottom of the page that refers to a man who bought a $20 3-teamer ticket and says if he wins he will make a $110 profit

This is equal to (5.5-1)

So is Deleware pulling that crap where they count your investment as a part of your return (ex. Risk $100 at 6.5-1 and profit $550)

Or is the reporter who wrote the article wrong and a $100 dollar bet will profit $650?

I forget have not been there since last year but JJ's right Delaware park is fun for a day trip but no serious sportsbettor goes there

you cant bet straight bets there just parlays thats what sucks ...the nfl took themto court and won so thats why it wont do any good to go there untill they overturn that court decision which i heard they are trying too ....you can bet the ponies tho

Thats what you get when you get government ran sports betting, absolutely no edge here you would have to get close to 1 full point on every game on a 3-teamer to gain an edge.

Odds for 4 teamers and up are even worse.

Books have an 18.75% edge over square players on 3 teamers good thing the supreme court limited the state to just parlays this is worse than state lotteries.

Actually if they really were paying 6.5-1 on half point parlays with fixed odds they would have a 6% edge but they would be beatable and worth a road trip for but at 5.5-1 they will never see a penny from me.
