Kings Corner (Pitching NFL contest, "Impress the King") )

While you guys were watching that useless Hall of Fame game the King was out picking plums off his tree and came up with an idea for a contest. I am still ironing out the details but think some posters would like this format.

"Impress the King" would go something like this..

-Posters would make (1) NFL play each week with a minimum 100 word writeup explaining why their play will cover.

-All winning writeups will be graded on strength and accuracy and given a point grade from 1-10 (a "word for word" rating if you will)

-All losing plays would be graded as a loser and given zero points regardless of writeup strength and accuracy.

-Your weekly points would carry over each week to determine the Grand Prize winner(s) at the end of the season.

-The King would grade all writeups and run the entire contest, past forum rumbles with iifold will not be taken into account when it comes to grading. I will grade fairly and be completely unbiased.

-There would be a Prize (hopefully) for the Top 3 each week and the Top 5 overall at the end of the season.

-Anyone caught plagiarizing writeups from another source will be dealt with swiftly.. all ghosts trying to play both sides of a game will be sniffed out by the Kings many fans and allies..

-Other details will be addressed after a sponsor is found..

Once I find a sponsor, and get this off the ground, you guys will see the greatness of thus idea..

It will not only be a contest, but the weekly threads will be the most informative NFL threads here at SBR...

Every game will be broken down by various SBR posters, from Paco to Bateman.. From Lakerboy to Sammy.. From Fishhead to ZBOIZ..

and everyone will get to see just how sharp these guys really are..

Once again the King is ahead of his time..

I am thinking some nice point prizes would motivate posters to come up with some very detailed, informative write-ups.. This would not be just another contest..
