He seems like a completely different person now. His voice hasn't changed obviously but the tone and level of it has. Maybe this will finally bring some much needed humility to his life.

Yes his job is a pro golfer and no he shouldn't be anyone's role model although he was more than happy to build a nice fortune because others had put him on a ridiculous pedestal.

And the fallout from running around dipping his dink into whatever gaping orifice he could find has now affected the level to which he can perform his job. Plain and simple. Hopefully by realising that his level of play is not infallible and he needs to respect the fact that his mental strength is just as important as any physical skills he may possess, he will come to the conclusion that he needs to focus on what he is being paid a handsome living to do as it can easily slip away from him.

Agreed but that feeling of invincibility is what made him great. His mental toughness is what separated him from other golfers. Without that confidence he is done

To me he didn't do a decent job of leaving that feeling of superiority on the golf course with his life off of it and that's where he is paying for it now. He is a narcissist and while that certainly helped him dominate golf, he didn't protect all those factors that produced that level of play with his conduct off the course. Golfers are notorious womanizers but because they are smarter about it they can mainly prevent it from affecting their job. But his actions were out of control, whether you believe he had an addiction or just was so full of himself that he thought he could maintain that lifestyle without facing any consequences and now he's paying for it with his on-course performance.

He needed to be brought down to Earth, both personally and professionally in order for him to completely start over and get back to where he was. I really think if he had come back after his break and kicked ass on the course it would've been the worst thing for him in the long run as it would've reinforced to him that his previous behaviour, including the prescription medication problems, was only detrimental to his personal life, not his professional one.

He has to wait a little bit. First divorce the first white girl..then marry another one..knock her up a couple times and then starting banging skunky whores behind her back.
