buying Asus laptop

looks good. Video card is in the top 10.
I recommend upgrading the memory (mainly for speeds sake). Was surprised that they wanted to put 1066MHz into that system.

Would upgrade the Ram but thas gonna cost you, But my main focus was that the dvd drive was not a blue ray with that graphics card being so nice movies should look good on there too

You can get it upgraded to blue-ray on the seller's site, that's what i'm doing. the laptop is full hd (1080p)

I definitely recommend Asus laptops, the one year accidental damage warranty is top notch. My brother had his for 5 months, dropped it and returned it to best buy. He was then given credit at the same price he bought it for. He got a newer asus model that he had for 3 months before he spilled some stuff on it and broke it. He turned that one back in as well and got another new model. ASUS warranty FTW

yeah that was the other thing that sood out to me. there coverage is unbelievable.
