Steaks and ribs. Also have fresh corn on the cob and other veggies. Portabella mushroom from my wife's veggie burger thought she'll eat half of my ribs.

I have about 20 relatives here. I sent them off to watch fireworks so I could have some goddamn peace & quiet for a minute. 8 kids from 4-16 years old. I don't get to see them that often, great kids and I love them all, but when all of them converge on the compound at once it can be a little overwhelming!!!

My 1st cousin is here, he is in his early 20's and his dad, my favorite uncle by marriage, we have been watching baseball & drinking beer. I have the 2 teenagers making databases. These kids are baseball fanatics, they are like rainman with fukin pitchers stats & even AAA & AA guys who are up & coming.

Felt like I was cooking for a small army today, grilled 40 burgers & 20 dogs, made cowboy beans, my mom made potato salad & all kinds of desserts. So much food but it's all gone. Tonight its smores over a fire!

Tomorrow I will be cutting arugula on the farm at 5am til about 10am, then I'll grill pounds of ribs, I'll pressure cook them tonight.
