i don't consider this a "tough market"

sell some stuff after huge up days like wednesday
buy some stuff after huge down days like friday

buy low sell high, buy quality when it's cheap

i think the market is much easier when the dow is under 10,000 and i can find some bargains than when it's 14000+ and everything is trading at 2x book, p/e of 20, etc etc

bkmu 6.09 (book value 8.80, never reported a loss)
weys 22.75 (3% dividend, 1.5x book, no debt, huge earnings growth and p/e of 10-12)
