    My Matchbook interbook transfer experience
Good grief! A few weeks ago I easily transferred funds from my Matchbook account to three other books. No problem. Today I tried to transfer funds to WSEX and had a totally different experience. Because the first interbook transfer was using funds that I had originally deposited via Neteller everything went smoothly. But because I had made a subsequent deposit using my credit card I needed to fax MB a copy of the back and front of my credit card and a copy of my driver's license. I did that and thought everything was in order. But no! I need to first have MB send me a check and THEN I can make an interbook transfer! But you see, I don't want a check from Matchbook. Not to mention that I want my money transferred to WSEX before two weeks have gone by. I told MB to forget it. I'm just going to deal with these books directly. Isn't this carrying identity verfication too far? Or am I being unreasonable?

I hear you. They have good intentions, but can get a little too anal sometimes when it is regarding a credit card. That's why I just used MoneyGram, was able to transfer to WSEX fast and easy. I hate having to fax stuff.

      Update to my previous post

Surprisingly, my credit card deposit was accepted by WSEX! Other books don't accept it. Go figure.

Credit cards are risky for books, because players are doing charge-backs. Example: deposit 1K at one book, another 1K at another book and play opposite sides. Then do a charge-back for the losing bet.

Is it pretty much standard for books to reimburse the fees of Western Union when depositing a high enough amount? There is a Western Union location close to where I live. Maybe I should just stop depositing with credit cards. What do you think?

Usually it is only 2-300$ and they cover fees. And yes, I agree you will have less headache by just going to a ** location with cash.

              Moneygram seems better than **.

Ok Doug you have me a bit curious as to why you think this.

I personally have never used Moneygrams before, because I've read that people seem to have much more trouble trying to get their funds sent to there books using moneygrams than whether Western Union.

I've heard too many horror stories from people about ** asking too many nosy questions, and even cutting people off from using their service.

Both have issues. I think it's a reason why books are folding ( or at least stealing) now. Too hard to send them money, and deposits are smaller than they were with NT.

I thought it was because Moneygram is cheaper than **.

The books like people using **'s for that reason, However the books pick up the fees if your sending them cash. So needless to say the players don't care from that aspect of things.

                        ** is expensive. ** is a standard 9.95 for up to 2500 i think.

** is easy and fast sending to Matchbook - I know that. 30 mins and your funds are in your account - no problem

How much do you send at a time though? I have read before that sometimes their is problems with larger sums of money being sent, unlike anything under a dime.

I agree, the books that require ID before withdrawls are a bunch of thievs and it's real shady and I wouldn't trust any of them.
