    Miami - Denver Over 216.5 Game 2

Feeling here is Miami is not going to shoot 40% from the field again, and they had better put up more than 93 points tonight or they're going to find themselves down 0-2 and done.

Feeling here also is Jimmy Butler will be much sharper than his 6 for 14 game one effort as well.
Bam will get his from inside, I'm not concerned about him, but if Butler plays to expectations, and if Maxi, Vincent, or Lowry can a few from long distance, I see no reason why this game can't reach 222 plus.

Maxi can't duplicate that 0-9 from three point range again, can he?

Denver will get theirs, no question about that.
They can stuff the stat sheet with any one of their four starters, and even KCP has been known to hang a few 24 burgers.

Miami can triple Joker all they want tonight, Murray, Gordon, and Porter can pick up the slack.
Miami has no answer for the Nuggets offense, the only ones that can stop Denver is Denver themselves.

I like the total better than the side.
I still maintain that Denver goes up two games to none, the 8.5 makes me a tad queasy, Miami does have a few shooters capable of hitting three's, and there's nothing worse than getting backdoored with a couple of last minute threes.

My policy is I rarely lay -360 on most anything, I can't bet the money line, and I can't bet Miami either.
    (I suppose I could, but I won't)

Random question. Is it true that if you like the underdog to cover the under is in play?

I like this. Kevin Love is starting so there would be no defense so Nuggets could score 130 by themselves.

This is gonna hit. Thanks to Sportsbetting.

    Under Paying Out

The Under easily paid out in Game 1, and has been a hot play for both sides in the playoffs.

The two sides went Under the Total by 22 points in Game 1. Miami has now had the Under hit in 5 straight games. Denver has hit the Under in 5 of its last 7 overall.

    Kevin Love is worthless.
    He's useless.

I'm still pissing in my pants laughing over that exchange there around the 6:30 mark in the 2Q

Useless, without use I tell ya.

Why is Spo giving Martin's minutes to Love?

Hmmm take Denver -8.5 or 3rd quarter h2h, worried Denver wont play hard last quarter blow out like if there's a few minutes left they usually don't care scoring and just hold ball all shot clock, plenty of times they hold ball 24 sec shit clock and hand ball over with plenty of garbage time left

To be fair Love does have five 1H boards.
Ok, he has some value, not much, but some.

Just a theory, I don't know for sure, maybe Spoe wants Love to muscle up Jokic, Love is tougher than Martin, not a better player, but he plays that enforcer role pretty good.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

Now if I can get me 108 2H total points, that'll make my weekend.

    Friday, 2-2.
    Saturday 3-0.
This over 216.5 if it hits would cap a sweet weekend .

2H total is a little whacky.
    2H 104.5
    i was expecting 108, 108.5. 107.5, not 104.5

So I talked myself into doubling down on the over 2H

    Adding 2H total OVER 104.5
That would be the Maraschino Cherry on top of the sundae if that hits.

You gotta think it's going under...

2q and 3q looked like it was flying over, surely they can't score more than that?

    Let's see

Heat up by 4 with the ball with over a minute left in quarter and I was thinking Denver winning the 3rd quarter was dead yet they win it

    I'm still with y'all.

I've been watching hardball, hoops, and pucks pretty much non stop since Friday night here at Casa de Nasher, not to mention squeezing in a few online poker tourneys.

I'm in IT, ever since COVID shutdown our office building in New Haven three years ago, I've been working remote exclusively from my office/spare bedroom.

It's a beautiful thing I tell ya, collecting paycheck working in boxers shorts, I can rip rancid burrito farts whenever and where ever, I sorry COVID disrupted thousands of lives and all, but for me it was a Godsend .
Chugging up I-95 round trip five days a week ages one quickly.

Anyway, I digress, I am the king of digression don't ya know?
As soon as the game total reached 217, I turned it off, Denver wasn't going to tie it, my 2H total bet covered, my game total bet covered, I had no need to watch the last sixty seconds of that game, so I tuned it off, since I was binging on poker, sports, and my writing all weekend, I decided to give Tessie Dog and Ally some Nasher quality time before Ally decided to 'cut me off' (if you know what I mean and I know you do)

Plus it's the right thing to do.
Ally and Tessie Dog have been nothing but true blue, and I can't place enough of a premium on loyalty.

Now, I'll start shutting things down, crash and burn.
Back to real life issues tomorrow.
    Reality, what a concept, huh?

But before I do, a final parting jab at our pal Johnny, for reasons unknown, I really do kind of like the fella.
Thanks for the kind words all.

I learned a long time ago there is no such thing as easy money.
    Appreciate the words buddy.

    Because there ain't no man
Who got the money in his hand

Who got any of that bread
    Bein' slow in the head
    The easier it looks
    The hotter it hooks
