    Are the Bruins the real deal?

    The Bruins have 8 losses this season & are on pace to beat the NHL all time wins record.

    They'e won their last nine games & are going for 10 in a row this Thursday.
    Theyre huge favourites to win the cup & still people are saying theyll exit the playoffs in the 1st round.
    When will you be convinced that they are the real deal?

    I wont be betting against them. Theyll probably be -145 vs the Oilers on Thursday & I be grabbing a piece of that!

    They were -120 in Edmonton they’ll probably be -180 or steeper at home

    Real deal? IMO yes.

    Win the Cup? In hockey winning 4 straight series over tough competition requires a lot of short term luck even for a great team. Assuming the futures odds are correct, they'll win the cup less than 25% of the time. I think the odds are more reflective of the nature of playoff hockey than they are a reflection of whether or not the Bruins are a great team.

    Nearly half of the leafs are new since trade deadline. itll take a few weeks for these new lines to gəl.

    Marchant is a beast. He can play on my team any day.

    Bruins have the best goaltender duo in the NHL and that isn't even debatable. They are definitely the best TEAM in the NHL this season but the best team during regular season doesn't always end up winning it all.

    Very true. Only 8 different teams in history have won the Presidents Trophy, ( best record) and went on to win the Championship.

    Their goalies numbers are inhuman..

    Anyone is beatable. Sort of reminds me of back in the day... when the Red Wings constantly were in the running to win the Presidents' Trophy... look what happened to them... someone always beat their ass in the playoffs. I think winning all those games.... wears you out... and it gives other teams a reason... to kick the sh## out of you. Regular season is meaningless.
