Can Denver nuggets shock the world and win the NBA championship

Jokic will have to be the key for it to happen.

Why would that shock the world?

I don’t think that would be a “shock” at all. I’m thinking they will be the team coming out of the West.

No. In the last 2 minutes you need a guy who can finish the game. That's what matters in the playoffs. You can sort of give the ball to Joker, sort of give the ball to Murray, but they don't hold a candle to giving the ball to Booker or KD, kawhi or george. As useless as the Mavericks are, they have 2 finishers.

I'm done for the season I'll have a conference and title play right before the playoffs. No use doing it before then the odds won't change much. I was stupid as heck to pick the Nets, I have never in my life seen an owner and GM blow up a title-contending team in the middle of the season. I still can't believe it. Does it take discipline to do that, yeah. What I learned over the years. gl fellas

Take a look at how many teams have a winning record on the road. Its truly sad.

Nuggets I like but I'm not sure they can win it all let alone the west.

Point difference is key and Denver really isn't that great. Take a closer look and you will see a team that wins alot but are they really that great?

Point differential is 4.2 per game for the Nuggets, which is 3rd to Boston at 6.0 and, surprisingly, the Cavs at 5.4.

Yeah I doubt I'm on the Nuggets but they have lost 8 of their last 9 playoff games. So how would that be anything new to the public? Or does the public believe in the Nuggets?

They might not even be healthy going into the playoffs. Course that goes for all teams. Murray was hurting after the game. Maybe back tightness, maybe something else. Why I just wait until before the playoffs, the dumbest things (ahem Nets) happen.

Yeah they started to get beat up. Clippers have become a physical team with Westbrook and Plumlee. Plumlee matches up with Joker size-wise; he had to put in a lot of effort to score. I definitely might pick the Clip show.

Question becomes do you choose Suns, Nugget, Clip, or Griz.

Suns got a great-I mean great-difference maker in Durant. However...they gave up Bridges, Crowder, and Cam. Linesmakers are still favoring them to come out of the West, +216

Point difference in the West is where I start. They allow the same amount of points as Dallas and a 3 pointer a game better. I just can't believe how tight it is all the way down to the 10th spot.

Denver surprisingly tied with Boston for a 20-10 record vs over .500 teams. The best in the league, Milwaukee at 21-10.

Clippers terrible vs over .500 teams, 11-24.

Clippers down to the Thunder a difference of only 3.5 games. Suns should be in the top 4, unless Durant gets hurt again.

So, a lot to unpack when the season ends. Story is finishing up, finally. Wish the playoffs started next week.

those odds tell you the value of kevin durant....lost bridges and cam, 2 clear starters, and crowder. nets could have gotten 4 firsts for bridges. and yet..the suns jump huge to 2nd to win the title

or...it tells you the public are fools. was listening teddy covers on "cover it", he said the suns don't have a bench now, they are fade material

somebody will be right and wrong

His ankle has been jacked for years now. Lakers love signing and paying big bucks to aged superstars.. Remember Steve Nash? Did he even play a game in a Laker uniform? I just remember him sitting on the bench injured and getting paid.

that said the big question about durant is not how good he is, we all know he's a great great player. but that it's that 1. he had a torn achilles 2. he's prone to injury

imo the nets trades to the suns and mavs were bad for all 3 teams. nets are aimless going nowhere, suns are dealing with an aging paul and durant gave up all their first round picks, dallas is aimless. you tell me who won in any of those trades.

for the suns it's this year to win the title, or never. paul will be too old, kd is starting on a downard trend. you saw lebron get more injuries from being old. same will happen to kd, who is stick-figure like so more prone to injury than lebron.
